About the role:

As a Doctor Functional Assessor with Ingeus, you will be using your specialist generalist knowledge to assess how chronic physical and mental health conditions affect an individual's ability to perform activities of daily living through telephone, video and face-to-face assessments. You'll review evidence, request and evaluate additional evidence when required and clinically triage cases to determine the correct assessment pathway and produce high quality, structured clinical reports on all claimants you assess, for submission to the DWP. You will be revalidated as a Functional Assessor for Ingeus and therefore, you will maintain your clinical skills.

Skills and experience required:

12 months post-registration and qualification experience (gained in the UK) as a GMC registered clinician. Excellent verbal communication, confident typing and computer literacy skills and be comfortable in a role that requires a high level of writing detailed and structured clinical reports.
